Question 1

How quickly can we start?

Accepted Answer

Discovery call within 48 hours. Most engagements kick off within one to two weeks of the signed proposal.

Question 2

Fixed price or hourly?

Accepted Answer

Both. Well-scoped projects get fixed pricing; exploratory or evolving work runs on flexible retainers or time-and-materials.

Question 3

Who owns the code?

Accepted Answer

You do — 100%. Everything lands in your repositories with full documentation from the first sprint.

Question 4

Do you work with existing teams?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We embed with your engineers, lead architecture, or work fully independently — whatever fits.

Question 5

Where is RanarTech based?

Accepted Answer

RanarTech is a remote-first studio with no central office. The team works across time zones with guaranteed EST–IST overlap, so calls and collaboration happen during client business hours.

Question 6

What size projects do you take on?

Accepted Answer

From focused two-week sprints (an audit, a proof of concept, a critical fix) to multi-month product builds and ongoing retainers. Every engagement starts with a scoped, fixed proposal.

Question 7

Can we talk to past clients?

Accepted Answer

Yes — reference calls can be arranged during the proposal stage, subject to client confidentiality. Anonymized architecture walkthroughs of comparable systems can also be shared.

Question 8

How do you handle security and IP?

Accepted Answer

NDAs are welcome before any detail is shared. All work happens in client repositories and infrastructure, credentials are never retained, and full IP ownership transfers to the client.
